In this sermon, we kick off 2025 by focusing on the theme of "celebrate" and the importance of staying true to our church's mission and vision. Drawing parallels from the Apollo 13 mission, the sermon emphasizes the necessity of keeping our eyes on the right focus to avoid drifting off course. We explore the biblical foundation of the church, as Jesus first mentioned it in Matthew 16, and discuss the significance of being an assembly of believers on a shared mission. The sermon challenges us to be active participants in the Great Commission, making disciples and living on mission with Jesus. As we celebrate our church's 60th anniversary, we are called to unite in purpose, grow in our faith, and help others find and follow Jesus.
