Be Rich: Be Rich in Good Deeds

Though they certainly don't earn our favor or salvtion with God, good deeds are commanded to come from Christ followers multiple times throughout scripture. Our theme verse for this series, 1 Timothy 6:17-18, reitterates this truth and expands our calling past our finances into the realm of our time and gifts as well. Listen in as Pastor Ken urges us to be rich in this area of our lives.

Be Rich: The Joy of Generosity

Pastor Ken delivers another compelling message in our series, "Be Rich." In this message we're encouraged to expand our view of the tithe. Perhaps the very thing we fear is God's gift to us instead!

Be Rich: Don't Be Arrogant

Following up on the first part of our message series, "Be Rich", Pastor Ken dives further into 1 Timothy 6:17 and explores the attitude of pride that can frequently accompany the rich. In this message we are warned to keep a humble posture and encouraged to release our posessions back into the hands of He who gave it all to us in the first place.

Be Rich: We Are Rich

Ken kicks off our new message series, "Be Rich" by letting us know that we, as Americans living in the Conejo Valley, are the richest people in the world. Properly understood, we can use our wealth out of a response of gratefulness to bless the world around us and draw us closer to the Lord through our generosity.

Pastor Ken delivers the final part in our message series, "CORE." giving a final challenge to live out the mission of God through His Church.

CORE: Extend Compassion

Pastor Jim delivers a message on the 3rd and final strategy for our church--to "extend compassion" to the world around us. Following Jesus' model for loving others and inviting them into the Kingdom is essential to acomplish His mission and the mission of the church. Are we regularly praying for and seeking those who are "lost"?

This week Pastor Devan shares our second strategy statement as a church, Build Community. In this message we're called to engage in 4 spheres of community to best accomplish our mission. Developing a core community is absolutely vital for our health and the mission of Christ.

This week Pastor Ken encourages us to "Encounter God" on a regular basis and provides ways to do so. Encountering God is one of three core values and strategies at NPFCC, ultimately helping us to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who seek and save the lost.

This week we begin our new series, "CORE", that upacks the mission and vision of our church. In the weeks ahead we'll be breaking down our core values--Encounter God, Build Community, and Extend Compassion.

Pastor Ken gives the third message of our series, "Light of the World", and describes our personal God.
