Jesus did not give us things, He gave us himself. As we worship fully and spend less this season, let's decide to give the gift of our time and our presence in response to the God who became flesh to show us the extent of his love.

Advent Conspiracy: Spend Less

On week 2 of our Advent Conspiracy series Pastor Ken challenges us to take Christmas back from the conspicuous consumerism it has turned into. While thousands of children die every day due to lack of clean drinking water we are spending billions on lifeless material things. What we do with our finances at Christmas reveals whose Kingdom we're trying to advance. The good news is, you have an amazing opportunity to reclaim it for goodness sake! While we spend less this season, take the extra money you don't spend and donate it on Christmas Eve to Living Water International, an organization that brings clean water for bodies and living water for souls! We begin a new series this week at NPFCC called "Advent Conspiracy"--a movement away from the rampant consumerism that has taken hold of the Christmas season and towards the King in a manger.
